Recording...

Lots of studio activity recently now that the snow has ceased falling--oh, that's right, it really hasn't stopped snowing yet, has it!?

In any event, I've nearly completed work on a full-length collection of jazz standards for Connecticut's sophisticated swing ensemble Cool Struttin'. Look for a release later this spring...

I've also begun recording the Renaissance chamber group the Wykeham Consort. Wooden flutes, classical guitar, viol, percussion and vocals blend to create an unusual, rich sound. You rarely hear anything like this, which is too bad--great stuff!

Chris Berardo and the boys were in for an overdub session, too. They cut some tracks for the Desberardos new project which is being produced in Austin by Reckless Kelly's David Abeyta.

I also am about to have some recording news of my own--stand by, if all goes well April should bring not only flowers (and rain...) but another blog post with details...
